When to call vs continue online

Getting started4 min read

NewLeaf runs on two rails: the LIVE OTP portal for file work, and human channels when you want a voice or a written answer first. Neither rail is “better” for every situation — here’s how people typically choose, case by case.

Continue online — portal OTP

Use the portal when you’re ready to see your credit report, review trade-lines, file or track disputes, read education, or manage billing. One email address, one-time code — the same door for new and returning users. This is the primary path for ongoing account work.

Call, text, or email — human channels

Reach a person when you want to talk through fit, billing questions, hardship, or something that doesn’t map cleanly to a screen. The portal keeps working while you talk — you’re not locked out of one because you used the other.

When people pick the phone

Common reasons: first-time questions before signup, a billing surprise, a dispute reply that needs interpretation, or a tight month where plan terms need a human conversation. Voice is (520) 223-9768. If the line doesn’t pick up, text 844-990-2022 or email info@newleaf.financial — same team, often faster.

The marketing site never charges. Plans are confirmed in the portal before any payment. Contact pages and articles are education — not enrollment desks.

More on the first days after login: your first week in the portal. Or visit the contact page for all channels in one place.
